Happy New Year!

I had a very eye-opening conversation the other day with a very good friend (talk about getting 20/20 vision). She had really taken the time to read through the entries on this blog and ask some very thought-provoking questions. I appreciated that.

One of the things she helped me to realize is that this blog is more personal than professional (she didn't point that out). Even though the content is about my businesses, it is not always in a reader friendly format. I apologize if that has caused you frustration or confusion as you've attempted to read.

I'm learning my process is to write down what is in my head as it comes to me. This blog has given me a place to present it so I can get it out of me. This allows more information to come. And it has! It really has!

So... I'm excited. I gave birth to triplets on my son's 4th birthday, Monday, December 23, 2019. Their names are "L.U.V. Enterprises", "The L.U.V. L.I.F.E. Cooperative" and PAID 2 Parent". I know how I want to raise them and they affect they will have on the world. It's takes time to do it right though. I promised myself to not rush.

This has been a challenge because I recently realized I started with a vision of the end results without a complete vision on how to get there. So this blog is keeping track of how I'm getting there. That means things might change. Things have changed. This blog is providing me with the opportunity to be transparent about my process.

I don't know everything there is to know about starting a business. But I do know I've started one. I know I've registered their names. And I'm excited to get started. I have even created a product. I have not been clear about the purpose of that product though and that is what this new year will present/has presented: more opportunities for growth and learning. Here we go!

It's a slow process and you have to be consistent to experience any growth. Failure is always an option and so is fear. Choosing either one of those will either cause you to stop or go backwards. So courage in the face of fear is always the best option. Viewing every situation as necessary on the road to success will allow failure to not be an option even when things don't go the way you intended.

This is a journey, a road as I already called it. It has been smooth. It has been bumpy. It has been safe. It has been treacherous. It has had stepping stones. It has had stumbling blocks. Sometimes I have been able to walk. Other times I've been able to run. Sometimes I've been able to drive or ride. But there are moments when all I've been able to do is crawl. I have slowed down when I needed but I haven't stopped. And I won't.

Every little step forward is a step in the right direction.

In conclusion, I am here to say, the journey is not over. In fact it really has only just begun. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for your diligence. Thank you for your support. Thank you for your silence. I have needed it all.

Cynthia Roberts, QuickBooks Pro expert, has themed the year of 2020 as "Two-Oh, Two-Oh Get Ready for Your Overflow". I am ready! Hope you are too!

Thank you again for being here on this journey with me. May you find what you are looking for. Create today. It's amazing. May your choices make it the best day ever. Peace...
