Exhausted! Welcome and welcome back! It's another amazing day in paradise. Thank you so much for being here. I know it's only one day from Monday. It would seem like I would just wait one more day to post this article or schedule it to post tomorrow. But... God is so amazing. And I had to share today. The title of this post is called "Exhausted" because I am exhausted by the ways God blesses my son, Wisdom and I. I mean He is over the top in the way He favors us. And then He gives us the honor of favoring others.  There are times when I get tired by the things Wisdom and I do. At times it feels like the ways we are moving is a waste of time versus an investment. BUT GOD... He takes those experiences and just as He promises, He makes "all things work together for [our] good".  Yesterday (Saturday, 11.6) was a days of too many bus rides with long wait times between them which often feels like "lost" or wasted time. And Happy Thursday!  It's been a while since I've written, not that there hasn't been much to talk about. It's definitely been the opposite. Our LIVE Version of Go Fund Me! Happy Monday!   It's another amazing day in paradise. I was thinking this morning. And if you know me... that's dangerous. But seriously, this thought came into my head: " Girl Scouts have cookies.  Boy Scouts have popcorn (I recently learned this. Thank you Pastor Chris!) Well, last October I was able to participate in The Small Business School Challenge where I was paired with 3 MBA students who looked at what I was trying to do with my business. Wisdom and I are in a very exciting moment of time during our journey "From Poverty to Prosperity". There is so much going on. There are so many opportunities ahead of us despite what we've been through. We are just days away from our Town of Cary Solicitor's Permit expiring. We have been setting up at the intersection of Tryon Road and Walnut Street/Holly Springs Road. We set up our table in front of the breakdown lane on the Holly Springs Road side of the intersection. The first time the police visited they confirmed it was a good spot to be most especially because of the breakdown lane where people can safely stop.  It's been a great experience. To Break or To Make... Welcome and welcome back! Happy Monday! It's another amazing day in paradise. Thank you so much for being here.  Ya know something...? I gotta be completely honest with you. If there was ever a week that was meant to make me or to break me, it was this last one, from last Monday to yesterday. I promise you. This last week really has created a conflagration within me for change. It has really made me become the person I am entering this week as.  I have decided not to go into detail about all the random incidents that happened throughout the week. I already know it would seem like I am complaining. And I would be. They don't deserve that kind of spotlight. What I can honestly say is they all helped me get crystal clear about the steps I need to take moving forward.  I am grateful for all Wisdom and I went through. I'm so honored to be Wisdom's mom and student. I have to admit... we have had more adventures in the last little while than I had expected or planned for. Through them all this little human has continued to show great character and resilience. I am so grateful for him.  Last Monday, August 16 marked two years since we returned to Raleigh after being gone for almost 3 years. The month of April brought some unexpected storms in the journey my son, Wisdom, and I have been taking through the perils of poverty. But there were  many seeds planted that brought May flowers. Those flowers appeared in the form of many gold hearted people.  It is important to me to acknowledge as many people as I can, even if I neglected to or didn't get a chance to learn their names. I also need to regard those who have been a regular part of our journey whose presence was magnified in one way or another.  It is important for me to first acknowledge some members of my family who always show up at unexpected times to help, more often than not, without me asking.
