Welcome and welcome back. It's another amazing day in paradise. Thank you so much for investing some of your time here. Let me get right to the point. I'm on a mission. Honestly there is one BIG mission with several roads that lead back to it.
The one BIG mission is to spread Love, spread LUV. And when I say Love, by definition I mean either my definition (the opportunity, blessing and challenge of seeing God/Goddess in others, especially when they don't see Them in themselves; honoring, reverencing and nurturing that God/Goddess within until it is manifested without) or your definition that reflects all that is good, right, virtuous and lovely.
By LUV, I mean L.U.V.! The nickname for L.U.V. Enterprises Presents, the parent company I'm working on launching with a motto to "build the village, raise the child". When I speak of "child" it could be the biological age or the inner child an adult of any age is stuck at. That age varies depending on the person and their experiences.
I'm spreading these messages to raise awareness and funds.
Wisdom and I need to get settled. We need a home. I'm working diligently to move us from poverty to prosperity. We have essential work to do. Having a home would make it so much easier to accomplish. So we've got these Heart A Tack packs we're offering as gifts for any donation amount. Any amount is appreciated.
As far as funds are concerned, the big goal is $5K to take care of a number of things. The most important items on our list right now are to pay for our storage unit which is up for sale at 2p today, Tuesday, October 28. Someone else was working on it and they let me know yesterday morning that they had nothing. We had some funds and could have used them but we chose to get inside for a few nights. The total is $411 and we still need $350.
The other item is temporary housing. It'll be $700 for 2 weeks in a room in an apartment we will share with one other person. We should be able to move in some time this week. Having short term stability like that will significantly increase our ability to move up another level in our quest to leave poverty behind for good.
I'm grateful for this hustle to give us some movement. This is for a limited time, while supplies last. It takes a lot of work to go from colorful slips of paper to laminated hearts but it's exciting to think about how each one might be used. I'll be handing some out for free and for donations. I have blank ones that you can customize and ones where I've written "#SpreadLoveSpreadLUV" the middle so they can be posted as a reminder to spread Love, spread LUV.
When I think about how people will spread Love, I think about Angel. He's a Mexican gentleman who gets his coffee and treats from Tres Hermanos every morning and then goes to a park to enjoy the peace and speak with his wife who isn't in NC with him before heading to work.
Wisdom and I are at that park most mornings to use the restroom after leaving our sleeping spot. So I've had a few conversations with some of the neighbors who frequently walk through there, mostly with their pets. Recently I was been able to speak with Angel as well. He's got a remarkable story.
Speaking of spreading Love specifically, for the last 3 or 4 mornings whenever I've gotten out of the car he's handed me some breads or sweets he's gotten specifically for me and Wisdom. It is an incredible gesture of kindness and compassion. He's never asked me my story. He just sees a need and shares in a way he is able. It brings a smile to my face everytime we cross paths.
Perhaps you're not in a position to buy something for someone every day but what can you do? And who can you do it for? It doesn't have to be a stranger. It could be a family member who you see everyday. How about a parent, spouse or child? How about a neighbor, family member or friend? Still can't think of someone. Then maybe that's because the person who needs the most Love from you is... YOU! You deserve Love too.
